Athirappilly Waterfalls and Vazhachal Waterfalls

My first trip to Athirappilly Waterfalls & Vaazhachal Waterfalls on 18th June 2011 is my first individual trip. It was terrific. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip for the following reasons. It was monsoon in Kerala. The roads were wet. It was a cloudy day. It was drizzling, raining frequently. Compound walls on the road side were wet with a layer of green. When we travel in sea our eyes can see only blue. And when I traveled in Kerala I only saw Green, Green, Green. I can write more about Athirappilly Waterfalls and Vaazhachal Waterfalls, but words are not enough to describe the beauty of Kerala especially in Monsoon. [A quick note about Athirappilly Waterfalls is fondly known as Punnagai Mannan Waterfalls and many songs such as Jia chale (from Dilse), Barso re (from Guru), Behne he (Ravan), were pictured by Mani Ratnam]
