சொற்கள் என்பவை வெறுமே மொழிசார்ந்தவை அல்ல. அவை அறிவின் துளிகளும்கூட. ஒரு சொல்லை அறியாமலிருப்பதென்பது அச்சொல் சுட்டும் விஷயத்தையும் அறியாமலிருப்பதே. மொழியை சரிவர அறியாமலிருப்பது பண்பாட்டை சரிவர அறியாமலிருப்பதே. இன்றையசூழலில் அது ஓர் இயல்பானநிலையாகவே உள்ளது.

அதேசமயம் வெறுமனே சொற்களைப் போய் ‘கற்றுக்கொள்வது’ எவருக்கும் சாத்தியமல்ல. மகாபாரதம் போன்று நம் பண்பாட்டின் ஆதாரவிசையாக உள்ள ஒரு நூலை வைத்துக்கொண்டுதான் சொற்களையும் அச்சொற்கள் ஏந்தி நிற்கும் அறிவையும் நாம் கற்றுக்கொள்ளமுடியும். ஆகவே வெண்முரசு வாசிப்பு என்பது வெறுமே வாசிப்பு மட்டும் அல்ல, அது ஒரு கல்வி.

அதற்கான முயற்சியை வாசகர் எடுக்கலாம். தெரியாத எச்சொல்லையும் உடனே கூகிளில் வெட்டி ஒட்டி தேடினால் பெரும்பாலும் பொருள் வந்துவிடுகிறது. இணையத்தில் தமிழ்ச்சொற்களை ஏற்றும் பணி அக்காலத்தில் ஏட்டுச்சுவடிகளை அச்சிட்டமைக்கு நிகரானது. அதைச்செய்த முன்னோடிகள் அனைவருக்கும் வணக்கம்.

Translation
Words are not just linguistic. They drops of knowledge. Not understanding a word is not understanding the information it has. Not realizing / understanding a language properly is not understanding the culture properly. But, in reality that is what the prevailing commonly.

Whereas simply learning words is not possible for anyone. In our works such as Mahabharata, which is encyclopedia our culture, through the words that it carries, we can learn the seed of the words and the knowledge it retains in it.  Hence, this work (Venmurasu - a rework of Mahabharata in Tamil by Writer Jeyamohan) is not just a reading but education.

The reader may take the initiative. A unknown word can be cut-pasted in Google and mostly meaning of it will be available. The loading process(project) for meanings of Tamil words  is similar to the process/project converting the writings in palm leaves to print text books. Salutes to all those.
